Arthritis Care: Evidence-Based Conservative Solutions for Hip, Knee & Spine
Empowering You to Move with Confidence
Osteoarthritis (OA) is a prevalent joint condition that can significantly impact mobility and quality of life. It can occur in younger adults after a trauma, such as after an ACL tear, or it can occur in older adulthood through complex physiological processes. Whether you're experiencing pain or stiffness in your hips, knees, or spine, my approach to care is personalized and research-supported to help you manage symptoms and maintain an active lifestyle.

Conservative Management for Hip & Knee Osteoarthritis:
GLA:D® Program: Guideline-Based Care
As a certified provider of the GLA:D® (Good Life with osteoArthritis in Denmark) program, I offer a structured, six-week education and exercise regimen designed to:
- Reduce pain and stiffness
- Enhance joint stability and function
- Delay or prevent the need for surgery
Research indicates that participants in the GLA:D® program experience significant improvements in pain intensity, walking speed, and overall quality of life.
Note: I am not currently offering GLA:D group classes in the Bulkley Valley. I am working 1-on-1 with clients in the clinic (Ridgeline Health, Telkwa) providing this program. Please reach out to me directly with any questions.
